A PASTRY SHOP ON A SUFFOLK FARM
PINCH IS A PASTRY SHOP SPECIALISING IN CRULLERS AND GELATO. A CRULLER IS A CLOUD-LIKE DOUGHNUT MADE OF DEEP-FRIED CHOUX PASTRY. OUR PASTRIES ARE MADE USING THE ORGANIC FLOUR, EGGS AND FRUIT FROM MAPLE FARM, WHERE OUR CAFE IS BASED.
IN THE WARMER MONTHS, WE SERVE SEVERAL FLAVOURS OF GELATO IN HOMEMADE SPELT CONES. OUR GELATO IS MADE USING THE MILK AND CREAM FROM E.S.BURROUGHS, A DAIRY FARM ON THE SUFFOLK/NORFOLK BORDER.
WE BELIEVE IN QUALITY OVER QUANTITY, WHICH IS WHY WE HAVE A LIMITED SELECTION OF PRODUCTS TO CHOOSE FROM. PLEASE SEE OUR MENU BELOW.
NEWS UPDATE FOR 2024
ALTHOUGH WE DON’T SERVE ANY SAVOURY FOOD IN OUR CAFE YET, WE HAVE EXCITING PLANS FOR THE FUTURE MONTHS. AROUND LATE SPRING THIS YEAR WE WILL BE MOVING INTO A BIGGER SPACE ON THE FARM WHERE WE WILL BE SERVING ROMAN PIZZA, USING VARIOUS GRAINS AND VEGETABLES FROM MAPLE FARM, AS WELL AS OUR FAVOURITE LOCAL CHEESE AND CHARCUTERIE.
WE ALSO HOPE TO CREATE A SMALL WINE LIST AND ROTATING COCKTAIL MENU.
ALL OF THIS SHOULD BE IN FULL SWING BY THE SUMMER.

Maple Farm is a regenerative organic family run farm specialising in eggs, honey, vegetables and berries as well as traditional varieties of grains that are stone-milled on site.
Alice, born and raised in Suffolk, has worked in some of London's most exciting restaurants such as Kricket, Clipstone, Levan and Emilia, the latter as Head Chef. She has also spent time cooking in Amsterdam, Bangkok and India. The pandemic led her to take a step back from the London restaurant scene, move home to Suffolk and study Food Anthropology at SOAS. During this time, the idea for Pinch was born to showcase and celebrate the incredible local produce she was surrounded by.
